How to wear a long skirt

Nothing is more comfy and hip then a long jersey skirt, I think that this is a must have for summer 2011.  I would pair it with something tight or fitted so you dont look frumpy. 

 It is also VERY important to get the skirt the right length.  It is not a good look to have it too short, unless your wearing flops.  If you are wearing a graphic/ patterned skirt then wear a solid tank or t-shirt.  
 A long skirt can be very cute if worn the correct way. 

Below are a few examples of good ways to wear it along with some bad.

Sofas Sofas Sofas

Since we are both remodeling our homes we have been super into picking out our favorite pieces!  Sofas are one of those things that can make or break a room.

There are so many wonderful sofas and couches:  A few of my favorites are below:   

Crate and Barrel Oasis sofa

My latest obsession has become English arm rolled sofas. I just purchased the Milo in Mist color from Anthropologie (below).

Here are some of my other favorites:

  I think Sofia Coppola’s sofa from House & Garden is what started my fascination.  

Sofia’s sofa is from George Smith and while it’s lovely I think I would be in trouble for buying a sofa with a price tag that could also be seen on a used car. They go for around $5,000-$7,000 dollars!

Restoration Hardware also has an option that is a bit cheaper  (still expensive though).  English arm roll sofa.

Fashion illustrations that rock

Check out this awesome artwork by Costa Rican artist Natalia Sanabria.   I adore her soft pencil technique and the way she knows just where to add splashes of vibrant color.

Then there is Jules....
