The fashion forecast says that this trend is going to make a strong presence through the holiday season. Celebrities such as Blake Lively are embracing the glitz with class. Sequins give an edge to staple items such as tailored slacks and blazers. I also love the concept of a sequin maxi-skirt. The one pictured here is out of my price range but I’m on the hunt for something similar! Wear this to any upcoming holiday party and catch eyes from across the room.

If you are feeling more casual but still want a little shine, pair a sequined shirt with relaxed jeans and a comfy winter sweater for a look that appears effortlessly chic. If you more in the mood for glam and excess, or are going for a fun night out on the town, pair sequins with leather and a bold lip for a look that evokes come-at-me confidence ;)
